Adding another world-leading brand to their range of quality commercial and industrial cleaning equipment bolsters GCE’s reputation for reliability and performance.  While the IPC brand is not new to the South African market, GCE was the clear choice as the distributor of both brands (Tennant as well as IPC) thanks to the company’s stock holding, service capabilities and back up support.

“IPC manufactures small- to mid-sized commercial cleaning machines and equipment, including floor sweepers and scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, high-pressure washers, and related aftermarket parts and services. IPC was acquired by the Tennant Company in 2018, thereby expanding Tennant’s own product portfolio to cleaning tools and supplies, such as multi-purpose cleaning trolleys, window-washing systems, antibacterial microfiber mops and cloths, and a wide array of consumables,” states GCE MD Greg Venter.

GCE will be focusing on this value line in three product segments: commercial equipment, floor care equipment, and high-pressure cleaners branded as Portotecnica.

The IPC vacuum cleaners and extractors (also referred to as small equipment) offer the best of reliability, quality, durability, and robustness from over 40 years of experience. All scrubbers and sweepers offer high productivity and reliability in small to medium areas. GCE Sales Director, Peter Esterhuizen believes that IPC range of equipment are safe, easy to use, durable and will add versatility to the GCE offering.

The IPC range will be available on standard GCE maintenance plans, providing customers with minimum downtime and lowest total cost of ownership.
