01 March 2023: Goscor Cleaning Equipment was not just able to survive a tough trading environment – but thrive in it. The supply chain challenges posed in 2022 did not stand in the way of this team as they produced chart-topping results – attaining the 2022 Goscor Business Unit of the Year award.

“GCE enjoyed a fantastic year – a real team effort, with all departments of the business contributing to its success. This performance was achieved in a tough environment, with many supply chain challenges experienced in 2022, which resulted in stock shortages, combined with a few key equipment orders where deliveries were delayed into 2023,” explains Neil Wilson, Group CEO. “Despite this, GCE exceeded its challenging budget, and produced a chart-topping Return on Net Assets – the highest in the Group,” he adds.

A collective team effort and hard work is attributed to the performance of the company. Managing Director for GCE, Greg Venter, believes that “this is recognition for the tremendous hard work our staff have put in over the last two years. We have all worked very hard to make this a much better, all-round business from 2020. All the different departments have taken up the challenge, and we are a much better business for it.”
